Led by electrician Lee Straney, Volt Energy Ltd is based in Norton Canes, Cannock. Established in 2009, we work with homeowners and businesses across the West Midlands and Staffordshire.
Our work brings together solar PV, battery storage, EV charging, air conditioning and general electrical services. Whether you are planning a new installation or upgrading an existing system, we help you understand the options for your property.

Experience built on a range of projects
Since 2009, Volt Energy has worked on domestic rewires, commercial electrical installations and renewable energy projects. Training in newer technologies has helped us expand our services alongside our electrical work.
Training that supports our services
The original About page records City & Guilds training covering electrical regulations, the 18th Edition, inspection and testing, and renewables. Lee’s retained certificates also document GivEnergy installer training and a Worcester Bosch residential air conditioning course.

From your first enquiry to handover
1. Discuss your property
Tell us what you want to achieve and share any details about your existing equipment. We offer free quotations and can discuss the next steps for a survey.
2. Plan and install
We assess the property, explain the proposed system and agree the scope of work before installation.
3. Complete the handover
Relevant work is registered with building control where required. On completion, we provide the relevant documents and certificates in a handover pack.
