Four of our young ladies were able to go on a course at Green Malata Entrepreneurial Training Village near Blantyre for two weeks to learn how to make reusable sanitary towels.
We have been able to supply all the materials they need to set up a small business to make these towels which they will sell to the women and girls for a small price.
Many of the girls are unable to go to school on the days of their period as they have no protection. Girls who cannot afford to pay will have them supplied free of charge. This is a great opportunity for these four young women to make a difference to the lives of the girls and women of the village.
